This Terms of Service supplements the CineDZ Master Terms of Service. By using fund.cinedz.com, you agree to both documents.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CineDZ Fund (fund.cinedz.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations of Algeria. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
2. Description of Service
CineDZ Fund is a crowdfunding platform dedicated to supporting Algerian and MENA region cinema projects. Our platform enables:
- Film production crowdfunding campaigns
- Documentary and short film funding
- Post-production and distribution support
- Equipment and training fundraising
- Film festival and event sponsorship
3. User Accounts
- Authentication via CineDZ single sign-on (SSO)
- You must be 18 years or older to create campaigns
- Backers must be 18+ or have parental consent
- You are responsible for account security
4. Campaign Creators
4.1 Eligibility
- Must be legally able to enter contracts in Algeria
- Film projects must be for legitimate productions
- Accurate and truthful campaign descriptions required
- Clear budget breakdown must be provided
4.2 Creator Responsibilities
- Fulfill all promised rewards to backers
- Provide regular project updates
- Use funds as described in campaign
- Communicate delays or issues promptly
4.3 Prohibited Campaigns
- Fraudulent or misleading projects
- Content violating Algerian law
- Personal fundraising (non-film related)
- Campaigns with no clear deliverables
5. Backers
5.1 Backing a Campaign
Important: Backing a crowdfunding campaign is not a purchase. You are supporting a creative project with the understanding that:
- Projects may be delayed or not complete as planned
- Rewards are not guaranteed
- Your contribution is at your own risk
5.2 Backer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate payment and contact information
- Respond to creator communications for reward fulfillment
- Understand the nature of crowdfunding
6. Fees and Payments
- Platform Fee: 5% of successfully funded campaigns
- Payment Processing: 2.9% + 0.30 DZD per transaction
- Failed Campaigns: All funds returned to backers (no fees)
- Payout: Within 14 days of campaign end
7. All-or-Nothing Funding
CineDZ Fund operates on an all-or-nothing model:
- Campaigns must reach their goal to receive funds
- If goal is not reached, all backers are refunded
- Partial funding is not possible
- This protects both creators and backers
8. Intellectual Property
- Creators retain all rights to their film projects
- Campaign content (descriptions, media) licensed for platform use
- Backers do not receive ownership rights unless specified
9. Limitation of Liability
CineDZ Fund is a platform connecting creators and backers. We are not liable for:
- Campaign failures or project non-completion
- Disputes between creators and backers
- Quality of delivered rewards
- Tax implications of contributions or funding
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Algeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Algeria.
